Ayush Pharmacy Institute is established by Ayush Educational Trust of Sri Sri Dakhinpat Satra with a prime objective to set up an institute of distinction in pharmaceutical sciences. It was started in 2021 with the Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm) course. Sri Sri Dakhinpat Satra has been playing a vital role for centuries for youth empowerment as well as social development of Assam. The word AYUSH is derived from Adhyatmik Yuba Sanmilan (আধ্যাত্মিক যুৱ সন্মিলন), which was started as a residential training workshop for youths providing spiritual upliftment to achieve inner peace as well as personality development.
At Ayush Pharmacy Institute, to achieve our academic goals we ensure the availability of state-of-the-art technologies, machineries, equipment and chemicals in laboratories. There are more than 700 book titles in the library. At API, we have prepared an ambience for our learners which presents freshness, motivation, focus in study as well as a hygienic campus life. 2-Year Diploma
In India, Diploma in Pharmacy (often shortened as DPharm or DPharma) is an entry-level tertiary pharmacy credential obtained following two years of training. Students can enroll after completing higher secondary education in science stream with physics, chemistry and either biology or maths. After obtaining the diploma, registration with the pharmacy council is required to be a registered pharmacist. A D.Pharm holder can also enroll for a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree via lateral entry scheme, and can be employed as a registered pharmacist in a hospital or pharmacy dispensing drugs and pharmaceuticals.

We provide a magnificent and comprehensive range of facilities within the college campus
Library of API consists 1200 titles and 12 international journals. Moreover there are e-library facilities which will introduce you to millions of e-books. A study room capacity of 40 students embrace a lush green surrounding and calmness of nature, which make it special. The textbooks prescribed as per university can be borrowed from library by the students for free.
Digital Classrooms with modern technology and smart education are available for the students where they can gather maximum knowledge within very short span of time.
Laboratory facilities of college is highly equipped with advanced tools and equipments as per new curriculum of D. Pharma. The laboratory of pharmaceutical chemistry-1, pharmacognosy, biochemistry and clinical pathology, human anatomy and physiology, pharmaceutics-I are designed very spacious as per PCI norms. There is also the facility of an Aseptic room, highly instrumental machine room and a large botanical plants garden.

Ayush Pharmacy Institute is a visionary milestone set up by Sri Sri Dakshinpat Satra. It's a need of the hour in Assam in pharmacy education. Mostly from the upper Assam, students have to travel a long distance for pharmacy education. Pharmacist is a most promising career in India. In both the government and private sector, there's a huge demand of pharmacists. Moreover, after obtaining a diploma in pharmacy, the certificate enable a student to earn a pharmacist license to open his own pharmacy. We, Ayush Educational Trust is now looking forward to open B.Pharm and M.Pharm course very shortly in the college.
